I’m a traveller, I really am. I haven’t spent more thank one year in the same house since I was seventeen. In one year, I moved three different times in three different countries. I also love to have stuff, but the problem comes when I am constantly moving I cannot accumulate these things. That said, I don’t have any cool furniture, I normally take whatever comes in the furnished apartments and work around it. See below for a picture of my dressing area of my room where I keep my toiletries, makeup, hair tools, and jewelry. The furniture was already there and the crates I picked up from a vegetable seller outside my house. The crates are not sturdy at all and actually really irritate me, but I have not found drawers that I want.

The other day I was walking around Harrods and I saw this Trunk by Marie Galante. I need this trunk now because of my traveling life style even though it would not be very handy for travel. What would be the point about having it when I am already living in one stable place? I think this would be perfect for me because it has a mirror, folds up, has loads of storage, and compartments. Also it looks vintage! Too bad its about $2,500.

I love it when people I know are doing good for themselves that’s why I was so excited when I saw my friend Erica had started a Jewelry shop Chic Grl. I was even more impressed by the design/price for each of the pieces (prices range from $0-28.00) . Anyway when I got this little gem of a headpiece from her shop, I could not wait to start wearing it and also put it on everyone I know. As my readers may know that’s not me in the picture, it’s actually my gorgeous roommate Sarah who kindly agreed to wear the headpiece for my blog as I wanted to get back behind the lens and also shes got a healthy neo-hippie look kind of going on which I thought looked great with the headpiece. I absolutely love it because its so simple but can be so elegant and quirky looking. Also see my love for vintage inspired pieces i.e. 1920s. See below for my favorites from Chic Grl:

Front view of the head piece! ($19.99)
Skull Cuff $8.99 (Reminds me of this Alexander McQueen bracelet)

Love Cuff’s $5.99
Today I bought these palazzo pants at forever21 that were a size bigger than my normal size ( they were all out and I fell in love with them). I will do a full body post later! Anyway I was thinking of ways I could make them a little bit tighter since they are not loose enough to hem. I remembered this “adjuster” that my mom had. I don’t really know what they are called but my mom used to use them in the 80′s with her maxi dresses. If you know please tell me! Anyway I thought this was a perfect fit. Also this would be great with one of those maxi dresses (cause they always fit me big at the waist)!
