DIY: Cameo Necklace

Okay I know I just posted about using a cameo the other day but I was looking at Louise’s  blog and saw this outfit she posted and I love how she made this cameo necklace. Just grab a piece of lace or crochet that has a nice collar shape and then use a cameo to clip it together.

 

 

Feathers for Fall On Sale!!!

 

Hey lovelies! I hope you’ve had an amazing weekend and for my American followers I hope you have a happy Labor day today! I was really happy because the sun was actually out in London this weekend and I took advantage to tackle this project I have been working on with my friend Diana. Her friend Mogli (name reminds me of being  kid) hand-made all of this in India using quality feathers, hemp, brass, and sterling silver for the earring hooks! He does such great work that we decided to help him out and put this stuff on Etsy.

He made earrings, necklaces, belts, hair feathers/bag charms. So I set forth to take pictures of all of the times and to try and “model” some of the items. I actually fell in love with the white feather necklace (pictured above) as well as the earrings and the belt which I will definitely try and incorporate to my Fall Wardrobe!! What a treat!

So sad that Amanda will be leaving for a month! But happy that she will be in Thailand learning and seeing new things! She will definitely have some cool stories and pictures to share on the blog. Anyway last night she brought over little gifts of yummy  brownies that she baked , a cute little card and this wonderful  ”carrie” style necklace that I had been babbling about from this man who makes them in silver at Camden Market! I Love love it! Thanks again Amanda!
