So today was the big day! The launch of the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection. I woke up today at 6:30am to stand in line and wait for a wristband to get in the store. I know you probably think its crazy maybe even ridiculous but I think its so much fun and it makes it more exciting. Below are the few pieces I had my eye on, the bra top body suit, the fishnet leggings and the angle boot with invisible wedge. However, as cool as I think the body suit is because it makes you look as if you are wearing nothing, my boyfriend says it looks weird because my boobs are too big so it doesn’t look right. I don’t know what I think I kind of like how it looks, what do you think? Maybe I just like the idea of it. Though Im in LOOOOOVE with the wedges, they are well made and leather and I want to look like I’m walking on nothing!!! Did you girls pick anything up?

Prada Autumn/Winter 2012 £12.99 at hm.com
The other day I recevied an advert in the mail from H&M and then I went on their website to check out these trousers, I added them to my cart but then forgot about them until I walked into HM two days ago and found them. I absolutely love them. The fit is great and so is the price! I also cannot believe how similar they are to the Prada collection! I think they are sold out at most H&M’s though so waiting to see if they get more. Thoughts???
How to wear?Pair these with a plain white blouse for work or a contrasting print blouse and brogues.

You may have already noticed that I have a slight obsession with Jil Sander? Not that I can afford much from the collections but I do like the minimalist aesthetic as well as their ‘classic pieces’ that they are able to create each season ( the market bag, the beanie, the bubble gum maxi skirts).
This season I was also in love with THE earrings (seen above.) They remind me of 80s clip-on earrings that I used to think were funny in my mom’s jewelry box. I like them because I feel like they are something you can wear with a plain outfit to dress it up a bit and make it a bit trendy, sadly I cannot afford to spend between $1,500- 10,000 on a pair of earrings at the moment. This is why I was beyond excited when I saw these clip-on earrings (remember those?) below at HM for £3. My friend Julia said that she would like them if they weren’t clip-ons but really thats my favorite part! What do you think?

Okay everyone I apologize for taking another long hiatus but I have graduated and now I have my masters!!! Things should be back to normal although now that I’m not a student I guess I have to find a new normal for myself!
The other day I was walking down the street and I saw a girl wearing a pencil skirt and I loved how she made it look feminine but casual. I like pencil skirts and I think they are very flattering but most of the time I feel like I can only wear them with heels or make them look very feminie and a lot of the time I just don’t feel like looking uber feminen. Anyway this girl was wearing a tweed pale pink pencil skirt with a loose white v-neck t-shirt tucked in and just thong sandals. I thought this is such a perfect simple outfit that looks casual and feminine. Below are the two models I’ve styled on HM.com, Have you tried that its pretty cool! What do you think? Do you like pencil skirts?
