Feathers for Fall On Sale!!!

Hey lovelies! I hope you’ve had an amazing weekend and for my American followers I hope you have a happy Labor day today! I was really happy because the sun was actually out in London this weekend and I took advantage to tackle this project I have been working on with my friend Diana. Her friend Mogli (name reminds me of being  kid) hand-made all of this in India using quality feathers, hemp, brass, and sterling silver for the earring hooks! He does such great work that we decided to help him out and put this stuff on Etsy.

He made earrings, necklaces, belts, hair feathers/bag charms. So I set forth to take pictures of all of the times and to try and “model” some of the items. I actually fell in love with the white feather necklace (pictured above) as well as the earrings and the belt which I will definitely try and incorporate to my Fall Wardrobe!! Anyway you should visit our etsy store here to see all of the items! Or click on the right side of the web page where it says etsy store! Hope all is well let me know what you think about it!

Leopard and Lace

Got my Jeffrey Campbell  platforms and  paired them with this lace dress I bought on ebay that came from hong kong. My cousin gave me this silver rosary bracelet that she got on her recent trip to the vatican which I think goes great with the whole look. I had a lot of trouble taking these “self portraits” because my camera was not cooperating but I guess they are okay. Anyway I decided I love the bells on the sleeves of this dress its so 70s and you know  that I love that.

P.S. current obsession clear black stockings aka 10 denier.

Style Icon: My Mom

I haven’t done one of these Style Icon posts in a while. I meant to do this one on mother’s day but I couldn’t get my grandmother to send me these photos. Anyway a part of everyone’s style comes from their mothers and I can see where mine came from.  These pictures have some of the  current trends such as color-blocking, wide leg jeans, maxi skirts, and  high-waisted shorts which I am currently obsessed with.

Going Vintage

Meet my friend Lulu. After running around vintage shops and watching student protesters on Oxford St. in London, we were inspired by the feeling of it all, not to mention we found some great items.

Lulu is styled and photographed by me. She is wearing vintage Miss Sixty flares, a vintage suede jacket that I got for a pound, my mom’s shirt that she bought in San Francisco back in the day, a men’s Missoni scarf, a Talbot’s vintage chain purse, and flower clips from H&M.

P.S. Although It was a decade earlier than what we were going for the whole time I kept thinking about Audrey Hepburn singing “Moon River”.
