Look in your fridge for your next beauty product

You’ve heard this story many times an older woman with amazing skin says something about how  she used to wash her face with milk because she had nothing else.  Funnily enough washing her face with milk was probably a stroke of genius as milk contains lactic acid and lactic acid contains AHA (Alpha Hydroxyl Acids) which are included in many anti-ageing beauty products.  AHA-containing products cause exfoliation, or shedding of the surface skin. Make like Kate Moss & Wear Big Colorful Earrings

I love magazines and always have because they are mini books that capture the time whether we like it or not. That said, whenever I read a magazine there is always a little bit of beauty or fashion inspiration that I take with me. In the case for British Vogue’s  June 2013 issue it was Kate Moss’ Editorial, but not just anything about it,  it was her signature look 60s  combined with large, bright earrings on all of the pages. DIY: Louis Vuitton Feather Bag (in 30 minutes)

Louis Vuitton Feather Bag Fall 2013 I have been really wanting a fur or feather bag for a while but had put it off until I figured out that I could buy Marabou feathers (from the Marabou stork) and make my own. I was inspired by the Louis Vuitton Fall 2013 ( above)  and the Topshop Marabou bag. It literally took me half an hour to make and turned out alright I think! Foundation, BB & CC Creams -a guide-

I am a beauty junkie. I admit it. My friends think I’m crazy because I know so many random things. The other day at work, we were doing ‘research’ aka trying a bunch of makeup and skincare, and a couple of my work mates did not understand BB Cream so I thought that a lot of people might be a bit confused so I created this little guide.
