There is a Galaxy trend that I have seen around lately and I don’t know what I think of it. In a way I really like it because it looks mystical and glittery but then I don’t know if I want to wear it yet. So when I saw Kirsten from Studs and Pearls DIY I was really excited because I might try it and then decide to wear it. See below for examples of what’s out there. What do you think of Galaxy print?

Jefferey Campbell Galaxy Print shoes

I don’t know if many of you have realized it but I am OBSESSED with shoes! Sometimes I have more shoes than I have clothes. Anyway I had been lusting over these Dolce and Gabbana heels because they remind me of the ones Dorothy wears in the Wizard of Oz. Anyway I found this tutorial at Love, Maegan I will definitely be making these (and posting them!) What do you think about them?

Another great DIY by A Pair and A Spare. Super simple! You bring the high heels and just attach beads that you by from the bead store or ebay! Check out the tutorial Here!
This is the second edition of the “basics” pieces. This is a work wardrobe “basics” for those of you that have to dress semi-professional. I remember when I had a 9-5 job just rolling out of bed and throwing on one of two pairs of slacks that I had until I finally perfected my “basics” pieces. This selection will keep you looking chic without too much work. Also I love black if you can tell I think using solid colors makes it easier to wear clothes several times a week without it looking like it! Anyway hope this helps! I would love feed back. Also remember that once you have a basic casual wardrobe and your work wardrobe you can mix these and create even more outfits.
Tip: Black and solid colors are great for looking chic and camouflaging your small wardrobe!
1) Tops- Black Collared shirt (I opted for a chiffon silk mix to make it a bit more stylish), plain black shirt, white collared shirt, Cardigan, blazer, Some type of knit!

2) Bottoms: Black slacks (I opted for high-waisted black flares because they look chic), pencil skirt (this is a classic so I added a modern and trendy twist by making it leather), Circle skirt, black work dress.

3) Shoes: Classic pump, Flat, and your special stylish shoe. I would choose black shoes because they go well with everything.

4) Accessories: A statement necklace (or 3 these are perfect for dressing up your work wardrobe), bangles, oversized watch, cocktail ring, hanging earrings.
