Finally a practical trend…trainers!

Maybe it’s the upcoming Olympics but this seems like a trend answering London’s prayers. Too often I have seen women dressed wonderfully chic (in work wear) with a pair of trainers on while catching the tube after a long day’s work. Now finally they can look on trend and be comfortable!

How to Wear:

The best thing about this trend is that we all know how to wear it. Most of us wore trainers in school and loved it. Of course you can wear them with jeans and a t-shirt but the trick with trainers is not to get too comfortable (otherwise the sweatshirts will come out). The great thing about Kate Bosworth’s outfit is that she still looks girly and grown up. It does help that her Isabel Marant trainers have a wedge in them to keep her poised. Personally, I am a fan of the classic converse with a dress or side split skirt (as I have noticed lately).

Tip: If you are not sure how to wear your trainers, wear them with a maxi skirt a few times to get the feel of them. You can also wear them with play suits or shorts in the summer. Let me know how it goes! PS I have ordered some very special ones that I will post soon!
