Normally I’m not one to go for designs on my nails. I do like colors but I usually keep it to one color. I don’ t know why I found these super cute. Maybe it’s because I’ve been on a super girly craze: everything in excess in pink…frilly….why …I don’t know?

Just to let you know I did get up and go to the Versace x Hm Last Thursday and it was awesome! I realized I had never been to one of those launches and it was pretty crazy. Donatella Versace was at the store on Regents street, although I did not look because I was too busy trying to get in line! Anyway I must post pictures of the way I have styled the collection and of the pieces I actually did get. As you know I love collection and think it was one of the best high street/fashion collaborations. Many people didn’t like the collection, if they are not fans of Versace’s bright colors that’s one thing but I feel like people always jump on bandwagons of “oh i’m too cool for that because the general public likes it!” Okay enough rant about that…everybody is entitled to their own opinion!
Anyway for those of you that did like the collection….it is sold out but guess what? I am selling three pieces on ebay! Not because I don’t love the pieces but because with my student budget I figure I might have gone a bit too crazy when I originally told myself I would only buy one piece! I find these wedding pictures of Lauren Bush and David Lauren (Ralph Lauren’s son) very inspiring. They have a romantic antique air about them and I also love Lauren’s dress and head piece (of course designed by her father in law). Last night I helped out at the V & A’s “Fashion in Motion,” for those of you that aren’t familiar with this, it is a fashion show at the V & A’s late night that is held three times a year and presents a different designer’s collection each time. Yesterday it was Peter Jensen’s turn to take over the beautiful setting at the V&A. What I can say is that I found the show, from the stage to the styling of the clothes, very inspiring. The clothes is very girly, an almost subtle Lolita style with cute prints and an ice cream palate. LOOK at the socks and stockings, the pom beanies, and the way the silhouettes the skirt pairings make!!! DIY coming up! What do you girls think?
