I had not really seen too much of Simone Rocha’s stuff only here and there. I always thought her stuff was great but nothing too mind blowing. Then the other day I popped over to stylebubble who did a post on Simone Rocha’s f/w 2011 collection and I was blown way by the idea of these brogues. I love them. The glass heel makes it look like you are pretending to walk in a high heel!….I use to do this when I was a child to appear taller….anyway what do you think about them? They sell for a good £595…i’d shell it out…course that’s not saying much right now….lol..

There is a Galaxy trend that I have seen around lately and I don’t know what I think of it. In a way I really like it because it looks mystical and glittery but then I don’t know if I want to wear it yet. So when I saw Kirsten from Studs and Pearls DIY I was really excited because I might try it and then decide to wear it. See below for examples of what’s out there. What do you think of Galaxy print?

Yesterday was the grand opening of H&M at Selfridges! This is the first H&M inside of a department store. Amanda and I went and it was actually really cool because its not that big and it probably showcases the best pieces that H&M has to offer. Sometimes I shop and H&M for basics but the cool design stuff is always mixed into the gigantic store and I can’t be bothered. Well at this store inside selfridges all of the cool stuff is in there ( I already said that right?)
They gave us these bags with a catalogue, a scarf and a gift card! There were also waiters walking around with Mimosas, smoothies, muffins, candy, cake pops and stuff like that (it was in the morning)!
I love that they carry a lot of black, leather, and lace. They are on point with fall’s fetish trend.
Again I love the leather and the black particularly the outfit on right (I bought the metallic sweater)!
I want these leather shorts! They are real leather and only £40 in the style of Rachel Roy.
Red/Berry will definitely be a hit this season!
Throughout the store they had these little black tags of stuff “curated” or chosen by Model/DJ Leigh Lezark. I guess they are going to do something like Topshop’s Edited where each week or so they have someone different choose the pieces that they like most.
This is what I ended up getting with my little gift card….I am in desperate need of tops! Sorry they are wrinkled, the girl folded them and then I took them out to show them and then stuffed them back in the bag!
This is me in Dusseldorf, Germany a couple of weeks ago. I think ever since then some of these items have been my “go-tos” with this in-between weather in London. They are my ASOS floppy fedora, my leather jacket and my clear stockings. I pretty much pair these items with everything; shorts, skirts, dresses. I think I’ve said this before but I am particularly obsessed with clear stockings I think they look super sexy but still kind of keep you warm and tone your legs a bit down ( no need to worry about the legs thing in California). I feel like in London stockings are definitely a go to for everyone, I guess because it can get so cold. I remember the first time I saw girls wearing jean shorts with black stockings I was living in Paris and I saw these British girls (they were talking out loud) in black stockings with shorts and their coats over. I thought this looked kind of funny or at least I did not instantly warm to the look but now I feel as if its natural. Okay well I guess thats enough talking from this end! Have a good day!
